ABOUT CALVARY'S ROCK FAITH CHURCH
HISTORY
Calvary’s Rock Faith Church is a growing, multiracial, Spirit-led ministry located in Smyrna, Tennessee, founded by Pastor Kevin D. McCroskey Sr. Our church was birthed out of a vision to build a place where people from every background can worship together, walk together, and grow together in Christ.
From our humble beginnings, we have been committed to teaching the Word with clarity, reaching the unsaved with compassion, and equipping believers to live out their faith with boldness. We believe in creating a welcoming environment where families, singles, young adults, and seniors all find a spiritual home.
At Calvary’s Rock Faith Church, we stand on the truth that God can transform lives, restore hope, and strengthen every believer who builds their life on the Rock. Our mission is simple: to love God, love people, and make disciples who impact the world.

MISSION
To glorify God by building a Christ-centered church that teaches the uncompromised Word of God, fosters powerful Spirit-led worship, develops faithful disciples, and reaches the world with love, service, and truth.
Based on Ephesians 4:12 – “…for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” (KJV)
VISION
To see lives transformed through sound doctrine, worship that invites the presence of God, discipleship that matures believers, and outreach that expands the Kingdom—equipping every believer to walk in purpose and power.

What We Believe

The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and life.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin, crucified for our sins, resurrected on the third day, and will return again.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by works, and is available to all who believe.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit empowers, convicts, comforts, and equips believers for righteous living and service.
The Church
We believe the local church is the body of Christ, called to make disciples, serve the community, and live out the Gospel in love and unity.
Baptism & Communion
We believe in water baptism by immersion and regular observance of the Lord’s Supper as acts of obedience and remembrance.
Marriage & Family
We believe marriage is a holy covenant between one man and one woman, and family is a divine institution ordained by God.
Evangelism & Discipleship
We believe in reaching the lost, equipping the saved, and sending disciples into the world to multiply God’s Kingdom.
